Windward's Under 13 team played host to the Empire Cricket Club Colts on Sunday March 8th under sunny skies. The Colts won the toss and decided to bat first, with K. McCollin and C. Craig opening the batting for the visitors. McCollin's wicket was first to fall in the 8th over with the score on 35 when he was caught by Matthew Lashley off the bowling of Rio Armstrong. Lashley and Armstrong teamed up two overs later when they took the wicket of Craig with the score having advanced a further 11 runs. Jelani Joseph and Dhaniram Dharamdeo then took the next 4 wickets in 9 overs while allowing just 16 runs. Jelani ended the day with 2 wickets for 3 runs in 3 overs he bowled, while Dharamdeo took 2 wickets for 8 runs in 2 overs with the ball. With the score on 63/6 with 15 overs remaining, captain Josh Branch bowled C. Burrows, then two overs later, Aakash Ramchandani caught Z. Thomas off the bowling of Branch, the score now 79/8. The wickets of A. Hartley and S. Mason followed soon after, with the former being declared leg before wicket off the bowling of Symes, and Caleb Clarke taking the final wicket when he bowled Mason in the 26th over, the score 92 all out. After the break, the pair of Lashley and Symes opened the batting for the Sagicor supported Windward Juniors. Lashley lost his wicket to the bowling of S. Mason in the 4th over, with the score already on 30. He was replaced by Kai Shepherd, who along with Symes, added another 18 runs in under 3 overs when Symes was dismissed LBW by J. Arindell, bringing Branch to the crease. Shepherd and Branch then added 45 runs in 7 overs, Branch hitting one 6 and two 4's, ending the day on 28 not out, while Shepherd hit one 4 on his way to making 13 not out. Windward won the match by 8 wickets and now face the Desmond Haynes Young Lions on Sunday the 15th at Lucas Street at midday. The Master's were awarded the win, in their match against Earthworks Melrose, when the home side decided not to field a team. Windward ends the season 4th in Zone D with 12 points, behind  Pickwick, Conrad Hunte and Wanderers, all tied on 20pts each.
