The Novel Sports supported Windward Under 15 cricket team continued they’re unbeaten record when they defeated the CCL Colts at Bennetts on Saturday. Leading the charge for the Lucas Street Lads were Alex Armstrong who took 5 wickets for 33 runs from his 8 overs which included 1 maiden, with Dhaniram ‘DJ’ Dharamdeo, Isaac Davis, Rio Armstrong, and Max Symes all taking 1 wicket each, dismissing the homeside for 111runs for 10 wickets. Armstrong also featured with the bat when the visitors had their turn in the middle. Opening the batting along with captain, Malachi Pooler, Armstrong made 25 runs off 25 balls faced when he was caught in the 10th over. Dharamdeo also showed great skill with his bat, ending the innings with 35 not out off 30 balls, while Mike Symes was 17 not out off 42 balls.They next host Empire Juniors, with whom they share top spot on the competition table, at Brereton on Saturday 17th of February from 11 o’clock.
