Windward's Under 13 cricket team travelled to Bennetts, St. Thomas to play The Franklin Stephenson Academy on Sunday. Winning the toss, the homeside opted to bat first, and ran up an impressive score of 210/5 in 35 overs with Joshua Branch taking 1 wicket for 27 from 5 overs, Dhaniram Dharamdeo taking 2 for 21 in his 5 overs with the ball, and Alex Bowe getting 1 wicket for 19 runs in 3 overs. Leading the batting for the Green & Gold was Joshua Branch who hit 5 boundaries on his way to making 31 runs before being run out, with Windward making 86 all out on the day. Coaches Jafari Toppin and Alan Branch await word from the organisers as to whether the team have made it into the knock-out round of the tournament.
