Under very cloudy skies, the formidable pair of Nile Morris and Rick Taurel took on the brothers Jason and Christian Clarke, beating them 9 games to 1, while on the neighbouring court, Kristina Evelyn and Chloe Weekes faced fierce competition from the pair of Melena and Gabriela Lopez, but beat them 9 games to 7. In the other Women's Doubles set, Lori Phillips and Brandy Hayes dispatched the visiting pair of Kath McCain and Cornelia Kruglar 9 games to 3, and in the Men's Doubles, Lance Castagne-Clermont teamed with Richard 'Bones' Marsh to beat Adrian Branker and Ashish Shetty 9 games to 2. In the lone Mixed Doubles set to play on the day, Matthew Walcott and Danielle Cupid faced off against the pair of Nick Charles and Hannah Chambers in what proved to be a tough set lasting over 30 minutes. In the end the Ocean View pair came out on top 9 games to 7. On Sunday, Matthew and Gavin Hutchinson played Ryan Moseley and Simon Lewis, taking the win 9 games to 2, while on Monday, the husband and wife pair of Andrew and Lee-Anne Thornton beat Russel Moseley and Taisha Jones 9 games to 3, giving Windward a final score of 61-27, and securing their place at the top of the tournament table, having defeated all comers. Semi-final matches take place on Saturday, pending decision by the organisers, when Windward hosts number 3 seeded team of Paragon Tennis Club at 2:30pm.
