Windward's tennis team continues to dominate the Windward Agencies Inter-club Tennis Tournament. Playing their first home game since the end of January when they defeated Barbados Yacht Club, the Strathmore Water sponsored tennis team hosted Summerhayse Tennis Club, and defeated the visitors 61-27, winning 6 of the 7 sets. In the Women's Doubles, Kristina Evelyn paired with Brandy Hayse and beat M. J Symmonds and Michaela Newham 9 games to 1, while Danielle Cupid and Jessie Pinheiro were victorious over the pair of Lisa Massiah and Sue Hutchinson with a score of 9 games to 4. In the Men's Doubles, Gavin Hutchinson and Richard Marsh defeated Martin Frost and Prashant Nebhani 9 games to 6, Matthew Hutchinson and Lance Castgne-Clermont faced Sean Eteen and Nigel Pierre, beating them 9 games to 3, and Rick Taurel teamed up with Mike Hutchinson to beat Richard Harrison and Sean Bullen in 9 games to 4. Matthew Walcott and Lee-Anne Thornton swept aside the pair Bernard Frost and Caryl Pearson in Mixed Doubles match 9 games to 0, while Andrew Thornton and Chloe Weekes fought hard against John Bayne and Laurenne Mottley, but lost to the visitors 9 games to 7. Their next match takes place on March 14th at Windward grounds when Ocean View come to visit.
