The Sagicor supported Windward Intermediate side won the toss and opted to put the visitors in to bat under sunny skies, with Jewaun Cumberbatch opening the bowling for the green and gold. Cumberbatch held the opening pair of Dario Walcott and Jamal Phillips to 4 runs in his first over, and remained consistent for his remaining overs, only allowing a total of 12 runs from 3 overs. Vice Captain, Shae Branch struggled somewhat in his first over, allowing 9 runs, but ended the day with 2 wickets for 25 runs from 4 overs. Ronaldo Callender also claimed 2 wickets on the day while allowing 24 runs from his 4 overs while Captain Sean Thornton allowed 24 from his three overs. Chris St.Hill claimed the remaining 4 wickets of the day, allowing only 22 runs during his 3 overs, and the visiting Pickwick team having made 145 runs, but were awarded an additional 12 runs due to slow over rate by the Lucas Street lads. Opening the batting for the home team were Alan Branch and Joshua Walker who took the score to 24 in 5 overs when Walker was caught and bowled by Daryn Husbands having 8 runs to his name. Branch was joined by Thornton at the middle and the pair added a further 10 runs to the board when Branch was declared LBW in the 7th over, bringing Shae Branch to bat. The captains took the score to 63 in the 12th over, when Branch was caught by Ramel Smith off the bowling of Rasheed Edwin, who would also send Lamar Springer back to the clubhouse for a duck. Ronaldo Callender joined Thornton at centre and added 40 runs in the next 4 overs when Thornton was caught by Cooke having made 32. Callender went on to score 22 runs, with two 6's and a 4, when he fell victim to the bowling of Edwin. Windward ended their 20 overs, having made 146 for the loss of 8, and losing the match by 12 runs. The Intermediate travel to Friendship, St. Thomas to play Yorkshire on October 3rd, while the 2nd Division play host to Ipswich at 1:30pm
