Windward's Second Division played their final regular season match on Sunday May 22nd against long time rivals Wanderers Cricket Club. Winning the toss and opting to bat first, the opening pair of Latrelle Greenidge, who was filling the spot of Joshua Walker, out with a recurring shoulder injury, and Glenmar Hinds, took full advantage of the pitch conditions, making 69 runs in the opening 6 overs. Greenidge would end the day with 103 runs, and Hinds on 28, while Kai Rollins would add 26 to the score, giving the Lucas Street Lads 177/4 in their 20 overs at bat. Hinds would also contribute to the bowling attack, taking 2 wickets for 8 runs in 2 overs, while club president, Richard Cox would take an additional 2 wickets for 22 runs in his four overs. Windward dismissed the visitors for 114 runs all out in 19 overs, and finish at the top of the Zone D Table for the BCA T20 Plate Competition. The Second Division will travel to Lowlands, St. Lucy, to play Lords at 2:00pm. Spectators are welcome. Covid protocols must be followed.
