Second Division lose a close one.

Second Division player, Glenmar "AJ" Hinds demonstrated his skill with both the bat and ball against George Park at The Glebe, St. George.

Windward's Second Division travelled to The Glebe, St. George on Saturday when they played the George Park cricket team in the second round of the BCA T20 Plate competition. Losing the toss and being put into bat on what was described as a slow pitch, Tony Edghill and Glenmar Hinds opened the batting for the Sagicor supported side and struggled to make significant runs on the small field, with the first wicket falling in the 13th over and the score on 51. Edghill managed to make 21 runs and Hinds a high score of 36, during their time at bat, and the Lucas Street lads ended the day with 107/2, with Andrew Thornton having 31 not out and Josh Walker on 13 not out at the end of the innings. Captain, Andrew Lythcott opened the bowling for the Sagicor supported side, surrendering 5 runs in the opening over, while vice captain, Dindial Ramrattan allowed 3 in his opening spell. The guys of the green and gold kept the run rate low, only allowing 66 runs in 14 overs when Richard Cox and Hinds took the first wickets of the innings, then Ramrattan took third wicket in the 17th over with the score having moved onto 92. In the end, George Park won the match by 6 wickets with 8 balls remaining. Lythcott had this to say on the days results; "The guys played well, especially AJ who ended the day with 2 wickets for 9 runs in his 4 overs, one of which was a maiden, and special mention of Max and Mike Symes on their energy and outstanding fielding on the day."

The Second Division's next match is at Padmore Village against the Prison Officers on Saturday May 7th at 2:00pm.
