Windward's Second Division side ended their match against QEH in a draw. Continuing their second innings from 25 without loss, having made 145/8 in their first and winning first innings points when they held the home side to a score of 93/6, the pair of Glenmar Hinds and Elon Davis took to the pitch to resume the match. Hinds made 46 when he was caught and bowled by Zuis Marquis, and was replaced by Kemar Carter. Davis scored 11 runs when he was caught by Akio Odle bringing Lamar Springer into bat. The pair of Carter and Springer ended the day with 31 not out and 34 not out respectively, when skipper Andrew Lythcott declared with a score of 147/3, and QEH needing 200 to win. Fourteen year old Max Symes continued his fine bowling form, claiming 2 wickets for 32 runs, ending the match with 5 wickets for 60 runs from 13 overs. Nick Shepherd took an additional 2 wickets for 34 runs, while Glenmar Hinds took one wicket QEH ended the day with 152/5. Photos from the first day can be seen in the Photo Album.
The Second Division play their final match of the season at Lucas Street, when they host the North Stars on October 15th and 22nd.
