Windward's Second division had a decisive victory against Christ Church Foundation School when they played at the Church Hill ground on Saturday. Winning the toss and opting to bat first, the Lucas Street Lads quickly set about putting runs on the board, having a score of 29 in 3.3 overs when opener Glenmar "AJ" Hinds was caught by Anthony Singh off the bowling of L'trell Parris having made 15 runs off 14 balls. Parris, who is also a member of the Windward Under 15 team, struck again when he caught and bowled Elon Davis on the very next ball, bringing Maxwell Lewis to the crease. Lewis and Alan Branch would enjoy a 63 run partnership lasting almost 7 overs, when Branch, a Foundation alumni himself, would be caught by Parris near the boundary, having hit five 4s and two 6s on his way to 51 runs. Ronnico Ross, himself a former Foundation student, joined Lewis in the middle, and the pair continued to attack the Foundation bowling with gusto, adding 66 runs to the total in 6 overs, when Ross was stumped having made 20 runs off 18 balls, bringing skipper Lamar "Bruiser" Springer to join Lewis, who was now on 58. Lewis would finally surrender his wicket in the 18th over, still on 58, having faced just 32 balls, and hitting seven 4s and three 6s along the way. Kai Rollins' time at the crease was short lived, being bowled on the first ball he faced from Taif Narine, Narine would take his third wicket two overs later when he bowled Andrew Lythcott who had 5 runs off 5 balls. Windward would end their innings having made 201, with Max Symes 1 not out, and Sadiki Nurse 4 not out, with a further 12 runs awarded as penalty for slow over rate by the school boys.

When play resumed after the break, another Windward Under 15 team member would open the batting for the Foundation side. Alex Armstrong would survive the bowling of Andrew Lythcott in the opening over, and then face his brother Rio in the second over, before being caught in the 5th over by Ross off the bowling of Lythcott, having made 10 runs from 21 balls faced, striking two 4s on the way. Lythcott would also claim the wickets of Narine in the seventh over, and Issac Davis, yet another Windward Under 15 member, one ball later, Foundation having 45/3 at the time. Sadiki Nurse would take the only other wicket of the innings, when Ondre Beckles was caught by Springer having made 22 runs from 30 balls. Foundation ended their innings on 104/4 in 20 overs lasting a little over two and a half hours.

Windward next play Graydon Sealy Secondary School at Bayville ground on Saturday April 20th at 2pm, and then Wanderers at Dayrells Road the following day.
