Captain Lamar Springer joined Stuart in the middle for 4 overs before being bowled by D. Herbert, having added 12 runs to the score and bringing Rashoun Archer to the crease. Stuart was next to be dismissed having 15 runs to his credit, and was replaced by Kemar Carter, who was declared LBW on the second ball faced having not gotten off the mark. Archer was then joined by former Melrose player Sadiki Nurse, and this pair enjoyed a 50 run partnership which ended when Nurse was bowled by Gibson in the 19th over, having made 10 runs from 8 balls faced and bringing Andrew Lythcott in to bat. However the club President’s time in the crease was short lived, he too falling victim to the umpires decision and being declared out Leg Before Wicket. Nick Shepherd rounded out the batting order, putting up a score of 3 not out, Windward having made 181 all out in 19.4 overs.

After the break, WRBSSC took to the pitch with D. Herbert and E. Dickson opening the batting. Herbert soon retired hurt in the second over, having faced 6 balls and making 2 runs. He was replaced by D. Sylvair who partnered with Dickson for 55 runs when the former was declared LBW off the bowling of Nurse, who would have another LBW decision go his way before the end of the over, when S. Ellis was returned to the pavilion with 3 runs from 4 balls, bringing vice captain Owen Birch into bat. Ronnico Ross took the wicket of Dickson, when he was caught by Kemar Carter, having made 37 runs from 23 balls and the score now 86/3 in the 10th over, and bringing captain J. Gibson into bat. The pair of Birch and Gibson then proceeded to have a 94 run partnership which was ended by Ross when he bowled the captain with 5 balls remaining and the score now 180/4. With just 2 balls remaining, R. Thomas managed to get just enough bat on the ball with an inside edge which made it to the boundary for 4, giving WRBSSC the required runs and winning by 6 wickets.

The second division next plays Transport Board on the 22nd, and MappWest on the 23rd, both matches are at Lucas Street.
