Windward's Intermediate side continued their League match against BNOC on Saturday, when they returned to the pitch having made 40/2 after bowling out the home team for 188 the previous Saturday. The pair of Naje Bishop and Alan Branch continued to select shots carefully and punish any ball on the legside and by the lunch break, the Lucas Street Lads had put up a score of 188/4, with Bishop on 100, he would end the day with 156, and Windward ending their 1st Innings with 274/10. At the close of play, BNOC were 66/3 in their 2nd Innings with the final day of the match taking place at Woodbourne on Saturday July 2nd at 1:00pm.
On Sunday, the Intermediate faced the Barbados Defence Force at Fairy Valley in their second 40 Over Shield match. Unfortunately the Sagicor supported side could not contain the big guns of the BDF, with the home team making 258 in their 40 overs and Windward then being bowled out for 150. Their next 40 over match is Sunday July 3rd at Lucas Street when they host Yorkshire.
