Windward's 2nd Division team traveled to Lears, where they faced the Cupid Cavaliers. Winning the toss, WCC captain Andrew Thornton, opted to field first, and opened the bowling with Andrew Lythcott who allowed just 28 runs in his 4 overs with the ball. Returning to the green and gold this season, Taurean Best opened the bowling from the southern end, and took the wickets of both opening batsman, dismissing Kwesi Perry for 17 when he was caught by David Sealy, and getting an LBW decision against Jamal Leitch who was yet to open his account. Best ended the day with 2 wickets for 9 runs in 4 overs. P.J Rodriguez took the wicket of Andy Debiden in the 7th over when he was caught by Thornton with 6 runs to his credit, but ended the day with a leg injury which hampered his play for the remainder of the innings. Lamar "Bruiser" Springer also proved he was good with the ball, taking the wicket of Brentrol Bishop before he could get off the mark, and giving up just 27 runs in his 4 overs. Vice captain, Dindial Ramrattan, took the wicket of Ishmael Dhenraj in the final over, and ended the day with 25 for 1 in 4 overs. Cupid Cavaliers made 128/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Opening the batting for Windward were the pair of Taurean Best and David Sealy. Best quickly indicated his intentions, swinging wildly at the first ball he faced, but settled down and made a few singles before hitting a 4 on the 5th ball. Best's wicket was taken by Deighton Walrond in the 6th over having made 16 runs off 17 balls. This brought Tony Edgehill to the crease, but no sooner had he taken his guard, he was returning to the clubhouse having been declared leg before wicket on the first ball he faced. Lamar Springer took his place, and faced three balls before making a quick single to open his account. He along with Sealy carried the score to 95, Springer making 38 from 33 balls, having hit three 4's and two 6's, before losing his wicket in the 15th over. Andrew Thornton joined Sealy at center, but was returned to the clubhouse having been caught by A. Singh, still on nought. He was followed by Xavier Lawrence who also failed to get off the mark, bringing Niyim Joseph to the crease with the score on 97 with 4 overs remaining. Sealy was run out having made 45 runs from 35 balls in the 91 minutes he was at bat, bringing Andrew Lythcott to join Joseph, with Windward needing 18 runs off 6 balls remaining. Joseph ended the innings with 3 not out, while Lythcott made 4 not out. Windward losing the match by 12 runs.
